Portraits and family photos are my favorite types of photo shoots. I have all the equipment needed to take shots in the field, at your home, in the studio, or in any special location you might choose. I can help choose a location if needed, and I'm flexible in my shooting days and times. I can provide digital files as well as prints, and I'm happy to do multiple edits to make sure you get the exact look and feel you're hoping to capture.

When and Where to Shoot?
Utah provides a lot of great backgrounds for family photos. With minimal effort, we can find the perfect spot to capture a lasting memory for your family. I also have access to indoor shooting locations if that's your preference. The best shooting times are in the morning and evening, but when midday shooting is needed, I have the equipment and knowledge to get great results.

Professional, Casual, or Something Else?
Portraits can adopt a wide variety of looks and feels. From professional headshots to dating profiles and from environmental business shots to something more artistically expressive, it all falls under the umbrella of portrait photography. When we discuss where you want to use your photos, I'll have suggestions for shooting locations, wardrobe, lighting style, and possible props. I have worked with kids, animals, adult couples, high school seniors, college graduates, professional models, and working professionals. Let's work together to capture you at your best.
Pricing
The cost for a portrait session will depend on a variety of factors, but sessions begin at $75, which would include a single setting and delivery of edited photos (up to 10). When you contact me, we can discuss what you're looking to do and come up with a quote for your session. For family photos, most clients spend around $200-$250 on average which usually includes full family, couples and kids, couples, and kids alone in the shoot package. Portrait sessions average around $100-$125 which usually includes multiple looks and edit styles (color, black and white, stylized).
